Fans of Brands is written by Alexandra (Alex) Schott, branding and marketing enthusiast interested in how social media is changing the traditional advertising and marketing model. Fans of Brands is a collection of her thoughts and insights into the intersection between social media and branding in today’s marketplace.
After graduating from Dickinson College, Alex has worked in various marketing and branding capacities at several publications and agencies in New York City, including Metro Newspapers, The Brand Union, and Sterling Brands. Having recently moved to Jackson Hole, WY, Alex currently works as a freelance consultant, developing marketing materials and web presence for local businesses. With coursework toward a Masters Degree in Media Studies from The New School, Alex hopes to leverage her ever growing knowledge of social media and marketing, and design to build successful brands.
